Recent Events
12th Annual Ovarian Cancer National Alliance Conference.
The Vanguard Cancer Foundation was honored to participate in the 12th Annual Ovarian Cancer National Alliance Conference in Washington, DC on July 6-8, 2009. Exhibiting with Rational Therapeutics and the Elixir Fund, we met many wonderful patients and family members fighting ovarian cancer. We were able to spread the word regarding assay-directed therapy and the work of Dr. Robert Nagourney. Patty Brown and Elizabeth Panke were walking billboards, wearing dresses that told their incredible stories of survival and the impact that Rational Therapeutics chemosensitivity testing had on designing the right treatment for their cancers.

Denim 'N Diamonds
On
November 10th, 2007, "JOHN STAMOS hosted "DENIM & DIAMONDS", to benefit
the Vanguard Cancer Foundation and honor the works of noted oncologist, Dr. Robert A. Nagourney. The event took
place at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach, California. The evening included dining, dancing and
fabulous entertainment featuring Neil Morrow & Memphis 54. There was also a silent and verbal auction, hosted
by
BOB SAGET &
DAVE COULLIER.

A Delicious Down-under Evening

October 5, 2007, 6:30 pm, the Vanguard Cancer Foundation sponsored a delightful evening featuring
a sumptuous New Zealand inspired dinner served by the Madison Restaurant and paired with an amazing selection of New
Zealand wines provided by Cable Bay Vineyards. Every ticket purchased donated to the Vanguard Cancer Foundation,
which provides cancer victims with critical medical care from noted oncologist, Dr. Robert Nagourney.
